Cypress Veterinary Services
As a new client of our Animal Hospital in Cypress, you can expect our full attention to you and your pet’s needs.
Cypress Lakes Animal Hospital is a paperless practice. What does this mean?
- We use electronic medical records, which allow us to have immediate access to your pet’s medical records anywhere in the hospital. This also allows us to share your pet’s medical information and test results with you via email or your pet’s secure online profile. Medical records, lab results, and even digital radiographs can also be easily shared with specialists in the event your pet needs to be referred for more specialized care.
- Online new client and patient forms will be available for download. You can fill these out ahead of time and either fax them to us or bring them to your first appointment. We hope that this will make your check-in process go more smoothly.
- Online surgery and anesthetic information and release forms will also be available to review before your pet’s surgery. This will give us the opportunity to explain what will be involved in your pet’s surgery from the pre-surgical labwork to the post-operative care and follow-up appointments. When you bring your pet in for their procedure you will be asked to review the information and provide an electronic signature for approval.
We pride ourselves in providing not only a clean hospital but one that is warm and inviting.
Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there may be times when the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure that your wait time is minimized as much as possible.
Drop-off appointments are available for those clients who would like to bring their pets early in the morning and leave them in our care to do what is needed. The doctor will call after your pet’s exam to discuss their findings, offer recommendations and treatment options, and answer any questions or concerns.
After you are greeted by one of the members of our friendly veterinary team, you will be escorted to one of our exam rooms. One of our experienced veterinary technicians will then ask you about your pet’s current needs and previous medical problems. For routine annual wellness exams and vaccinations, the technician will discuss our vaccination protocols and will gather any samples needed to ensure your pet is parasite free. Our veterinarian will then ask you further questions, provide a thorough exam, discuss any current or past concerns, discuss possible diagnostic testing, and then offer a treatment plan. Our hospital offers a complete in-house laboratory with a well-established outside lab that allows us to gather information quickly. A timely diagnosis is very important to the well-being of your pet. In the event that we are not able to provide a more specialized service or diagnostic test, we will offer referrals to local specialists and specialty hospitals. Our hospital provides access to effective and economical veterinary prescription items. If there are medications that are not currently in stock at our clinic, we will approve recommended prescriptions via Chewy online pharmacy for your convenience.
Our receptionists and technicians will then be available to help you check out and make any future follow-up appointments. They can provide you with additional pet care information and answer any final wellness or care questions before your leave.
Estimates are always available upon request.
We look forward to meeting you and your pets. We hope to make your first visit a positive experience. We welcome suggestions and appreciate positive reviews and referrals to your family and friends. A referral is the highest form of compliment!
